Chaat and Sweets

This boardbook is adorable in recreating indian snacks with collage art. The colors are stunning and as an adult, I find the pictures engaging. Unfortunately, I think Indian food does not translate well in this medium, so my child was not as excited to see his familiar foods in this manner. The text doesn't rhyme, though the author makes a valiant effort to be cute while descriptive enough to identify the food item and condiments.
