About the Author:
Sayed Haider Raza was born on 22 February 1922. He started painting when he was twelve. He continued painting almost till the day he died, on 23 July 2016, at the age of 94. Raza lived and worked in Paris for many years. He made many, many paintings, won many, many awards, including the Padma Vibhushan. Raza Saab was a good painter. But more than that, he was a good human being.
