KitaabWorld is partnering with the India Community Center, in Milpitas for story time!
We all love short stories and tall tales, and they are even better when you hear someone else telling you the story and all you have to do is ask, "...and then?"
We are getting little ones interested in trickster monkeys, learning out loud with alphabet and number books with familiar South Asian sights and sounds and even taking then for a trip back in time with ancient folk tales!
Our classics collection stories from American texts such as the Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear and the sing-along Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes are sure to get them excited about learning a South Asian language!
Or maybe we'll just get them hungry for more with stories about crisp dosa from a hot hot pan or take a trip to the bazaar and show them all the yummy street food!
Either way, it's going to be a fun ride!
Story times are also a great way for moms to meet other new moms, and often turn those into lifelong friends.
